Photo Story Editing Session

Hasidim, The Unseen is a long-term documentary project by mentee Yago Ruiz, exploring one of the most visually recognizable, yet deeply misunderstood, communities: the Hasidic Jewish communities of London. In this session, we will focus on shaping the work into a clear, coherent body of storytelling and refining it for his The New York Times Portfolio Review by clarifying the core intention behind the work, strengthening the narrative flow across images, refining sequencing to build rhythm and tension, and editing toward a cohesive, portfolio-ready body of work.
